Who we are
VALKE (ABN 75 849 765 659) is a web design and branding studio based in Brisbane. In this policy, "we" and "us" means VALKE. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
-
What we collect
Only what you type into our forms. The contact form asks for your name, email, current website, the services you're interested in and your message. The client onboarding form also asks for your business name, phone number and details about your project, brand, domain and email provider.
-
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and plan your project. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we never sell or share your details for marketing.
-
How it's sent and stored
When you press send, your answers go through our website host, Cloudflare, and arrive as an email in our inbox. We don't keep a separate database of submissions. Cloudflare may process this information on servers outside Australia.
-
Saved on your device
The onboarding form saves your answers in your own browser as you type, so you can finish later. That copy stays on your device, is never sent to us until you press send, and is cleared once the form is sent.
-
Cookies and tracking
We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
-
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we need them to talk with you about your project. If you become a client, we keep project records as long as the law requires. Ask us any time and we'll delete what we don't need to keep.
-
Access and correction
You can ask to see, update or delete the information we hold about you. Email hello@valke.com.au and we'll reply within 30 days.

Concerns
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, email us first so we can fix it. If we can't resolve it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
